James Vu (John Holland Rail) was presented with his Award at the Gala Dinner, AusRAIL PLUS 2011 by RTAA president, David Bainbridge. His winning entry was entitled: The Design and Fabrication of Base Plates and Fastenings for Timber Turnouts. James will be heading to Innotrans 2012, Berlin in September and will receive travel expenses to the value of up to $10,000 as his prize. We also congratulate Wilson Wong (Abigroup) - who received a "Highly Commended" certificate and Daniel Thomson (RailCorp) who was placed third. All three finalists attended AusRAIL PLUS and were guests of the RTAA at the Gala Dinner.
