Treasurer

Allan has over 30 years experience in the rail industry, having commenced employment with Plasser Australia in 1980 as National Sales Manager.

With a mechanical engineering background and strong commercial and industrial sales experience, he quickly adapted to the highly specialised field of track maintenance machines.

When he became National Sales & Marketing Manager for Plasser Australia in 1992, Allan joined the Management Committee of the RTAA representing the Track Maintenance group of members.

In 2006 Allan was elected as one of the two Vice President positions until in 2008 when he volunteered to assist the RTAA in the role of Treasurer.

Allan was involved in the inaugural Field Day in 2006 and has since played an active role on all subsequent Field Day Organising Committees and as treasurer of the Field Days in addition to his other responsibilities.
