Vice President

Garry is the Managing Director and the driving force behind the long term sustainable business strategy of Rhomberg Rail Australia. Beginning his career 15 years ago on completion of a Masters in Business Studies, Garry has developed and implemented corporate strategies in a variety of different industries as a management consultant in Europe.

Garry joined Rhomberg and the construction industry as General Manager Strategy and Business Development 8 years ago, reporting directly to Hubert Rhomberg, the fourth generation company owner.

In 2006, he came to Australia to take responsibility for the development of the previously taken over Track Australia which was rebranded to Rhomberg Rail Australia in 2010.

After five years under Garry’s leadership, Rhomberg Rail Australia has rapidly expanded through organic growth to become a leading NSW based railway design and construction company with projects delivered across Australia.

Garry became a member of the RTAA‘s Management Committee in 2009 and was elected as Vice-President in 2010. He is the RTAA champion for our Technical Stream Papers at AusRAIL.
