Sandy (Kay) Bull
RTAA SecretarySandy changed her career direction after 27 years in teaching and management in the early childhood education industry in 2006.
Her interest in the RTAA was fostered when she was awarded the task to document the history of the RTAA, its Conferences and Councils in 2005. This involved interviewing the senior Life Members who had wonderful stories to share about their careers in the rail industry and their role in the establishment of the RTAA in 1973.
She assumed the role of RTAA Secretary and Public Officer in 2006 and has also served on the Field Day Organising Committee for each successive Field Days Event since 2007.
She initiated and managed the first RTAA No Tie Dinner Event in 2010 and hopes that it will continue to be a successful and enjoyable major event in the rail industry calendar.
She also manages the RTAA website and has undertaken the role of assisting in re-vamping the website according to the RTAA new Strategy Plan.
Today Sandy also assists her husband, David in the administration of his civil engineering consultancy to the rail industry, Bull Head Services Pty Limited.
