On Wednesday, 3rd April 2019, the winners of the 2018 Australasian Diversity in Rail Award winners were announced.

Level Crossing Removal Authority was awarded with the 2018 Diversity in Rail Award and Alium Works received a Highly Commended.

The RTAA is proud to recognise the outstanding achievements of members in the promotion of diversity and workplace inclusion through the establishment of the Australasian Rail Diversity Award.

The award represents our response to the chronic skills shortage that continues to affect the Australian rail community, and is also reflected in our strategic priorities. We know that creating a diverse and inclusive workforce is one way to redress this issue. Added to this, diverse workforces have been proven to increase business outcomes.

Congratulations to both Level Crossing Removal Authority & Alium Works for the work you are doing to create a diverse workforce.
