Anyone from the rail community or with an interest in the rail industry is welcome at the event. Exhibitors comefrom the private and public sectors and cover all disciplines of rail.

Entry is free to all participants.

Expect to see indoor and outdoor exhibitors, onsite practical demonstrations, plant and equipment in action or attenda range of engaging presentations. Food and refreshments are provided, with compliments by the RTAA.

We have listened to past Field Days feedback and as a result parking will be available at the 2019 Field Days.

A free shuttle bus will operate approximately every ten minutes from the nearest train station to and from the event.

Get involved

Exhibitors may choose from a range of indoor and outdoor booths.

Onsite displays and demonstrations can be made by exhibitors. All exhibitors have the opportunity to showcase new technology, plant and equipment.

Presentations in the Fettlers’ Shed are also a way to highlight organisations’ achievements.

Presentations take place during the two days and are approximately 30 minutes duration.

Sponsorship packages can be tailored to meet individual needs.

The RTAA Rail Industry Field Days is known as the biggest and best outdoor event on the Australasian rail calendar.

Now, with the inclusion of all rail disciplines and sectors, it will be the most diverse.

This means participants will include:

  • Over 1000 local and international attendees
  • Over 50 indoor and outdoor exhibitors
  • 30 onsite demonstrations of new rail technology
  • A wide variety and increased number of plant and equipment on display
  • Presentations in the Fettlers’ Shed every 30 minutes over the two days
