The RTAA is pleased to partner with Australian Road Research Board (ARRB) and Australasian Centre for Rail Innovation (ACRI) to make our historical, technical papers available for all via the Rail Knowledge Bank.

You will now be able to find technical papers from all of our historical conferences from 1971 onwards. This contribution to the body of rail history is just one way the RTAA is promoting “grassroots railway knowledge” retention from past and current generations to future generations.

Find our historical papers here.

Rail Knowledge Bank provides a ‘go to’ place for major industry Australasian conference material such as the papers from AusRAIL, Light Rail and Rail Safety conferences and exhibitions. Rail Knowledge Bank is free, open access and full text searchable with no fees or subscription required. Developed and maintained by the Australian Road Research Board (ARRB) under the National Interest Services (NIS) program, the Australasian Centre for Rail Innovation (ACRI) Rail Knowledge Bank is a managed online resource for the entire rail industry.
